About This Dog for Adoption

Bailey's ideal home

Bailey is a gorgeous young girl who is currently living in one of our foster homes. She likes a hands-off approach and an intro to new people as she can alarm bark unknown faces. For this reason she’s looking for an adult-only home where she can really settle in and build her confidence. Bailey really enjoys the company of other dogs and is currently living with one in foster. As long as there are successful mixes in centre before adoption she would also be able to live with another dog in her new home.

Could you be Bailey's perfect match?

Beautiful Bailey is a bubbly, playful girl beneath her sensitive exterior. She is less than a year old and came into our care as she was too much for the other, older dog in the home. Bailey has had lots of training from her previous family and knows a lot of cues including sit, paw, touch and more! She’s also fully housetrained and has a good history of car travel. Bailey is used to being left for an hour or so but would benefit from this being reintroduced once she’s settled. She’s really clever and would love her training to be continued with her new family.

Poodle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Poodle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Poodle Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
