About This Dog for Adoption

Milo's ideal home

Milo is a super friendly, very affectionate little lad who’s looking for a new home. He can be a little bit worried by younger children, so would be best suited to living with children aged 8 or older, who can respect his boundaries and understand how to interact with him. As a slightly older boy, he does prefer a quiet life, so a calmer household with lots of snuggles on the sofa would suit him just fine! Milo gets a lot of confidence from being around another dog and therefore will need to be rehomed with another already established dog within the home, or his friend Murphy. Once settled into his new home, Milo could be left on his own for up to four hours, if this time was built up slowly.

Could you be Milo's perfect match?

Meet Milo, the adorable nine-year-old Poodle cross Bichon Frise who is ready to steal your heart! This fluffy little cuddle monster is not just house-trained, but he’s also a fantastic travel companion, happily joining you for car rides. Milo delights in a game of fetch, but more than anything, he treasures time spent with his favourite people.

If you’re looking for a loving friend who craves all the cuddles and attention you can give, Milo might just be the perfect match for you.

Poodle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Poodle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Poodle Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
