Max
5 daysMax's ideal home
Max could live with another dog so they can go on adventures together, he would suit another young dog who enjoys playing but is also independent. Max could also be rehomed to a home with no other pets. Max struggles to be left for long periods of time so would need this built up nice and slowly and would need minimal leaving hours overall. Max could live with children aged 8 and over, including visitors.
Could you be Max's perfect match?
Max is a 2.5-year-old Cockapoo who came into our care after his owners were moving abroad and were unable to take him with them. He is currently in one of our foster homes and has settled in nicely, he is an active boy who enjoys being outdoors exploring on his walkies. He is friendly with people, although when you first meet him he isn’t the type of dog that will come up to you for a cuddle straight away however this does happen once he is settled and has a relationship with you! Now he knows his foster carer, he loves a stroke and a fuss. Max also loves playing fetch and will bring a ball back for you to throw. He settles nicely in the home and does sleep upstairs with his foster carer overnight. One thing that Max does struggle with is being left for long periods of time, he tends to bark and is quite unsettled so the ideal home would be one with minimal leaving hours as he just loves company so much! He is great with other dogs and mixes on and off lead well. In terms of health, he is up to date with vaccines, neutered and also up to date with flea/wormer treatment.
