About This Dog

Pringle's ideal home

Pringle would thrive in a home that offers a calm, predictable indoor environment paired with an active, enriching lifestyle outdoors. He loves getting out for multiple daily walks and enjoys mental stimulation that helps him feel settled and fulfilled. A quieter household with clear routines and structure will allow him to relax and show his best self, particularly as he can be sensitive to unfamiliar household noises. Homes that are more peaceful, rather than busy or open‑plan, will help him to feel safe and secure.

Pringle is well-suited to a family with secondary‑school‑aged children. He has previously lived happily with teenagers in foster care and really enjoys their company, especially when they engage with him through training, learning and positive interaction. Confident, dog‑savvy teenagers who are able to follow guidance and training plans would be a great match for him.

His future adopters should be happy to continue reward‑based, force‑free training with support from the centre. With understanding and consistency around his sensitivity to noise and his need for good management at home (such as keeping tempting items out of reach), Pringle will be able to make excellent progress and feel more settled.

Pringle has shown himself to be friendly and polite around other dogs. He is comfortable walking on lead with them and has also enjoyed appropriate play, including positive off‑lead interactions.

Could you be Pringle's perfect match?

Pringle is a one‑year‑old Springer Spaniel cross Poodle with a sweet, affectionate nature and a real love for human company. He is people-oriented and enjoys physical affection, calm introductions, and being involved in family life.
Outdoors, Pringle truly comes into his own. He loves long, sniffy walks and benefits from an active lifestyle paired with a structured, predictable home environment. Clear routines and reassurance help him feel safe and settled.
Pringle is currently thriving in foster care, where he has shown great progress with routine, overnight crate use, and structured walks. He is fully house‑trained and sleeps well through the night.
Pringle feels most comfortable when his people are nearby and would suit a home where someone is around for much of the day, allowing time alone to be built up gradually with support.
He travels well in the car, happily jumping in and out and settling for journeys of up to 45 minutes.
