Liza
About This Dog
Liza's ideal home
Meet Liza, a 2-year-old Poodle, who has had a difficult start to life. She will need patient and understanding adopters who can help introduce her to home life. Everything about the world is new to her, so she will need dedicated adopters to teach her everything from scratch and build on her confidence. Due to her worries, she needs to have a quieter home life with minimal visitors to start to help her settle. She could live with children 12+ who are able to provide her with space when needed. Liza is looking for a home away from any busy/main roads that produce a lot of noise and would love a home in a quieter residential area. She must have direct access to a private, secure garden where she can enjoy the outdoors. Liza could potentially live with a cat or small furry if kept separate to begin with, with slow introductions and if managed well. She is looking for adopters who are happy to help continue working on her people and dog socialisation and basic training. Liza could live with a specific dog, depending on how the meetings at the centre go.
Could you be Liza's perfect match?
Liza is a bright and well-natured dog. She has shown that she is ready for a new start in life, offering her focus and doing her best to be braver around her handlers and life in the outside world. She loves being outdoors and experiencing new environments, and likes calm fuss on her head or under her chin when she gets to know you. She loves a snuggle and a game of gentle tug of war play with a sibling while here at the centre. She will make a wonderful new addition to a family once she has settled in. If you could offer Liza a patient, understanding, calm home life, she could be your pawfect match!
