Mash's ideal home
Mash is a sweet 1-year-old Miniature Poodle looking for a loving and understanding home. Having lived a sheltered life, Mash is playful with the dogs she knows but hasn't been socialised with others outside her home. She has the potential to live with another dog, pending successful introductions at the center. Careful introductions are also needed if she is to live with a cat, as she hasn't lived with them before.
Mash is shy around new people but shows curiosity and will approach slowly. Due to her background and sensitivity to quick movements, a quiet, adult-only home would be ideal for her. Coming from a welfare hoarding situation, Mash needs a patient family willing to introduce her to the world at her own pace. She requires support with house training, and while she isn’t used to walks yet, having a garden would help her settle in and learn. To help Mash settle in, she would benefit from a few introductory visits at the center before transitioning to her new home, where she can bond more quickly with her adopters.
