Betsie's ideal home
Betsie is a delightful 11 year old Poodle X looking for a quiet retirement home where she can relax and receive all the love and fuss she deserves. She has lived with other dogs previously and has been friendly with the dogs at the centre and has the potential to live with another dog pending successful meets. She is a friendly girl but can be worried by overhandling so would be best suited to a home where any children are of Secondary School Age or older. Betsie would like someone at home with her the majority of the time initially and any leaving hours would need to be built up gradually once settled.

Betsie is a sweet girl who came into our care from a large welfare case which means she has not had the usual life experiences a dog of her age would usually have had. As such, she is looking for a kind, patient and understanding home that can help her settle into her new life and routine. She will need support with housetraining and would benefit from a garden to allow this. Betsie has some ongoing medical which is well managed with pain relief and will need to continue on this longterm, we can go over this in more detail with any potential home.
