About This Dog for Adoption

Nova's ideal home

Nova is a gentle 4-year-old Miniature Labradoodle who’s ready to find her forever home. She’s currently flourishing in a foster home and would love a calm, steady environment where she can enjoy affection, routine, and relaxed companionship. Nova is suitable for first-time dog owners who have taken the time to research her needs and understand the commitment of dog ownership. She can live with secondary school-aged children and would prefer to be the only pet in the home, as she values her space, though she is happy to walk with calm, well-mannered dogs. A private, secure garden is essential so she can enjoy a potter and stretch her legs in peace. Nova is easygoing on lead making her a great match for a quiet home with gentle walks and lots of love.

Could you be Nova's perfect match?

If you’re looking for a relaxed, affectionate companion who enjoys nothing more than a cuddle and a gentle stroll, Nova could be your perfect match. She is friendly with everyone she meets, and although she can be slightly bouncy when excited, she’s overall calm and intuitive. Nova is good with handling, though she doesn’t like her paws being touched, and she’s happy to share toys and space with people. She has lived with another dog in foster and handled initial challenges well, though she prefers dogs who give her space and would thrive as the only pet. Nova loves enrichment activities like Kongs and rope toys, settles well overnight, and is fully house-trained. She enjoys exploring outdoor spaces but prefers the indoors when the weather isn’t ideal. With her easygoing nature, affectionate heart, and quiet confidence, Nova will bring joy and calm to a home willing to go at her pace. AWE licence number 13090 by West Lothian Council.

Poodle Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Poodle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Poodle Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
