Baxter's ideal home

3 year old Baxter can live with, ideally a maximum of two, adults only (18 years and over) and must be the only pet in the home, but would love to socialise with other dogs on his walks. Baxter would make a great countryside walking companion to join you on your adventures! Baxter is on an introduction programme, which will require the family to make additional visits to the centre to build a relationship with him and ensure adopters are comfortable with his training plans. His future home must be within 1.5 hours of our centre as he will need to visit multiple times to help his transition into the home. Baxter appreciates time alone so is looking for a home where he is left most days for a minimum of 4 hours.

Baxter is a big bundle of enthusiasm, charm and cheekiness. He is bound to capture your heart as soon as you meet him! Baxter is no couch potato and enjoys being on the go so is looking for an active family to match. He is going to need some extra support in the home around his resources and settling in, so any potential family need to be mindful of this and will have our full support with learning how to manage this. Baxter can show a sensitive side and is overwhelmed when there are lots of people coming and going, so would benefit from a quiet household. He has good history with housetraining and is extremely clever and always keen to learn new tricks.
