About This Dog

Poppy's ideal home

Poppy is an 8-month-old Labrador crossed with a Poodle who is full of fun, energy and personality!
This lovely young girl absolutely loves being around people and enjoys spending time with her favourite humans. She is a big fan of toys, treats, playtime and water, so there is plenty to keep her entertained!

Poppy has lots of energy and will need an active home that can provide her with plenty of appropriate physical exercise and, importantly, mental stimulation. Her new family should be ready to continue helping her develop into a happy, well-mannered adult dog.
Poppy can live with children, provided they are comfortable around an enthusiastic young dog who can jump up when excited. Her new family will need to help her learn appropriate greetings and manners.

Poppy needs to be the only pet in the home, although she can enjoy having doggy friends when out and about.

As a young dog, Poppy will need ongoing training to help her learn all the skills she needs for life in her new home. Poppy needs extra support with being left on her own. Her alone time will need to be introduced very gradually and increased over time, always working at a pace she is comfortable with.

With the right home and ongoing support, Poppy has all the ingredients to grow into a fantastic companion.
