Otis's ideal home
Meet Otis, a 7 and a half year old Yorkie cross poodle with such big energy for a small dog. Such a joy to come home to, he greets you at the door with his best “Salsa” dance wiggle. He likes to play, his bouncy ball is his favourite, he will happily play and bounce around with it on his own. He likes a gentle fuss on his terms, he does need you to keep checking in with him to make sure he is still happy with the attention. This top lad is ready to find his new home.

Otis is looking for a quiet and predictable home with loving and understanding adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help him settle in and give him all the love and care he deserves. He is a sweet boy who likes his space, so could live with older secondary school children who will give him time and space, if there is a quiet area in the home he can take himself off to the rest and relax, that would be the best. Otis likes his home and family all to himself so would like to be the only pet, he would however be happy with polite and friendly walking buddies. Otis is smart cookie and can be encouraged to engage in training in short, sweet sessions as long as a tasty treat is on offer. He would like a home with a private, secure garden for him to have some quality time pottering about in at his leisure with no worries or distractions. Otis settles nicely and can be left for up to 4 hours, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Otis will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear all of this in mind when applying.
