Elliot's ideal home
This beautiful boy is Elliot, a 1-year-old Cocker Spaniel X Mini Poodle. Elliot is a nervous lad who is looking for a gentle and supportive family who can help him to build his confidence. His ideal home would be on the quieter side, as he can find new sounds and visitors a bit spooky, and he would love to have a nice garden to explore. Elliot is keen to learn that the world isn’t so scary, and if you’re willing to take things at his pace, you’ll soon see his affectionate side shine through! Elliot could live with secondary school aged children, and he’s also able to share a home with cats and/or other dogs (pending a successful meet here at the centre). This little cutie has so much potential and we can’t wait to see him thriving with his forever family!

Elliot is still a young lad with lots to learn as he continues growing up, so he’s looking for a family with plenty of time and patience to spare. Before coming into our care, Elliot hadn’t had much interaction with other dogs – he’s doing well sharing a kennel with another small dog, so we think he’ll really benefit from having doggy friends either in the home or out and about. Once he’s settled in his new home, Elliot could be left by himself for 4-6 hours with a break. He much prefers spending time with his humans over playing with toys, and he also travels well in the car, so when he’s gotten to know you and gained a bit more confidence, he could be a great little adventure buddy! Elliot is an absolute sweetheart with so much love to give, and we know he’ll bring a lot of joy to his new home.
