About This Dog

Tommy's ideal home

Tommy is a six-year-old Bichon looking for a loving home. He could share his home with children as young as eight-years-old. He could potentially live with another dog pending a successful meet and mix here at the rehoming centre. He has good history with living with a cat. He has no experience with small furries or livestock. Tommy dislikes being left alone and is therefore looking for a home where his adopters are around for most of the time. Any time left alone will need to be built up gradually and positively. He is housetrained and travels okay in the car. Tommy could cope with a reasonably busy home environment.

Could you be Tommy's perfect match?

Tommy is happiest in the company of people. He adores a fuss and a snuggle and is a very affectionate lad. He has settled well in his foster home. “He is easy-going and has a special, happy nature.” (His foster carers) Tommy enjoys playing ball and he likes to go for walks in the park. He lacks some confidence when out and about and seems unsure around other dogs. He enjoys his food and treats, and he knows some basic training including a sit.
