Loving 11-Year-Old Parti Toy Poodle Seeking Quiet Solo Home

About This Dog
Please read carefully before enquiring.
I am heartbroken to be looking for a new home for Cosi, my 11-year-old black and white parti Toy Poodle (2.5kg). She is one of three poodles in my home and the dynamic has shifted in the last year — Cosi has started to aggressively guard her food, chews, the sofa, and me from her older sister, and the household no longer feels fair to her. She is constantly negotiating for space and I can see she would be much happier as the only dog, with a lap of her own and someone to sit on it.
I want to be clear about what this is and what it isn't. In eleven years, Cosi has never been remotely aggressive with any other dog — not on walks, not at the groomer, not meeting friends' dogs, not in any other context in her life. This is recent, it is specific to her older sister, and it is not her nature. We are working with a clinical animal behaviourist. Whoever takes her on will receive the full history, the current protocol, and ongoing access to the behaviourist if helpful. She has never broken skin and uses very clear warnings. None of this is hidden — I would much rather find the right home slowly than the wrong home quickly.
On her health more broadly: Cosi has early cataracts, a heart murmur that has remained stable since it was first diagnosed several years ago, and some dental issues — all typical of a small senior dog and all currently well-managed. Full veterinary records will be shared with anyone serious about her.
In every other way, Cosi is genuinely perfect. House-trained, crate-trained, travels well in a car, easy at the groomer, easy at the vet, small and neat and uncomplicated to live with. She is a true velcro poodle — her main interest in life is being on or beside her person, and she will make her devotion very known to whoever she chooses as hers. She wants your attention and your love all of the time, and she gives it back tenfold.
The right home for her is a quiet, adult household where she is the only dog. Older children who understand how to be calm around a small dog could work, but young children would not. She needs someone who is home for most of the day — she has a small bladder and four hours alone is her limit. Previous experience with small dogs would be ideal. She is not a project dog. With the right person and a calm setting, the loving, doting little companion she has always been is exactly what you'll get.
Please only enquire if you can genuinely offer and afford her a solo-dog, low-traffic, lap-rich home for the rest of her years. I am not in a rush. I am looking for the person she is meant to spend her older years with.
