About This Dog
I have made the heartbreaking decision to sell my gorgeous black Toy Poodle boy. He was originally bought as a companion for my older chihuahua after his long term friend recently died but unfortunately this has not worked out as my older Chi boy absolutely loathes him and constantly attacks him and I feel so sorry for the little toy poodle. I have tried for months with different tactics to get them to bond, I cannot leave the room or leave them alone together, I am now having to separate them and walk them separately, my intention was to enhance our lives and get my Chi a companion, it hasn’t worked out.
Even though I love them both, my Chihuahua has been here all his life and I only see it fair to sell the newest addition. My toy poodle is a loving, friendly boy, full of character, loves playing, going for walks, dog flap and toilet trained, great family dog, likes children. He has been doing very well and winning in dog shows, he is stunning to look at and jet black, however, it has come to my attention that he has only 1 descending testicle, I was told by my vet that it could take up to 12 months for both to descent, I was advised by the vet to adopt a watch and wait for it to happen, but he is now 14 months and it has not.
This is not the reason for sale, as I had no intention of breeding anyway, but did enjoy the showing at local shows. He is extremely loving, clingy, poodles really adore their humans, and he sticks with you like Velcro, he loves being groomed, baths and is a dream to clip according to the local groomer (he has been clipped in the continental show clip for the shows and looked truly exquisite.
This decision has truly upset me, my little girl will be upset too, poodles love children and the dog plays with her all the time, however, my loyalty has to be to my Chi who has been with me all these years, I cannot get rid or sell an elderly dog as this would be cruel of me, but my poodle is young enough to bond/love another family, just as much as he loves us.
Please do not enquire about him unless you can truly offer him a very loving pet home, he is a very special and gentle being, who will sit on your lap, be by your side and walk with you for miles, basically, be with you all day, everywhere.
