Thomas is approximately 1 year old and is a shy but curious young dog who is just beginning to discover the world. He is gentle by nature, a little unsure when meeting new people at first, but he is friendly and relaxed around other dogs. Thomas hasn’t had a good start in life and has missed out on early experiences, so he will need a calm, patient home that is fully committed to helping him build confidence at a slow and steady pace. He will need total rehabilitation and kind, consistent guidance as he learns about everyday life. Thomas cannot be left alone initially and will need adopters who have the time and dedication to support him through this important adjustment period.

Thomas is looking to live with another confident, friendly ( neutered if female) dog who can help show him the world and reassure him as he learns. He can live with calm, understanding children aged 8+ who are respectful of nervous dogs. A secure, private garden is essential, as being outdoors is still new to him and he will be a flight risk while he builds confidence (this will also help with housetraining). Thomas has not been exposed to normal household sights and sounds—vacuum cleaners, washing machines, kettles, and general family life will all be new experiences for him. With lots of love, patience, and gentle encouragement, Thomas has the potential to grow into a truly wonderful family companion and will reward his adopters with quiet loyalty and affection.
