Stilton's ideal home
Stilton is currently looking for his future forever home. He needs a home that will be involved in training, including his dog interactions. Stilton is reactive when meeting dogs, so his future adopter will need to be happy with working on this with him. Stilton can become worried when left alone, so leaving hours will need to be kept to a minimum at first and built up over time. Due to Stilton's reaction to other dogs, we would advise no cats and having a private garden to give him off-lead opportunities. Stilton has shown some nervousness when he came to the centre, so we would suggest that he lives with children aged 10+ who can give him space when needed.

Stilton is a very friendly boy who loves all the attention he can get from his handlers. He is extremely smart and enjoys taking part in training and learning new tricks. Stilton is heavily food-motivated and will do anything for a treat. He can regularly be found curled up in a handler's lap or snuggled into his duvet, wearing a cosy jumper. Stilton can struggle with face-to-face interactions with dogs; however, he can have walking friends who respect his space. Stilton is a sweet boy ready for his forever home!
