About This Dog for Adoption

Bailey's ideal home

Bailey is an adorable four-year-old Cockapoo who?s sure to win your heart. Although he can be a little shy when meeting new people, Bailey soon comes around with time, patience, and a tasty treat or two. He would enjoy living with a calm, confident dog who can help build his own confidence, or he?d also benefit from having a steady doggy pal to accompany him on walks. We have no previous history of Bailey interacting with small furries, cats, or livestock. He can live with children aged eight and over who will give him the space he needs to settle. Bailey is looking for a quiet, rural home where he can truly relax. Access to a garden would be beneficial, and he?d thrive in a home with access to peaceful walks right on the doorstep. Bailey isn?t a pub or café dog and would be happiest avoiding busy social environments. He does best with familiar routes and a consistent routine, rather than frequent changes or new walking environments. His time left alone will need to be built up gradually, but he has a positive history of being left for short periods. Bailey would be happiest in a home where he won?t be left for long or too often.

Could you be Bailey's perfect match?

Bailey loves his toys and especially his treats ? he?s not fussy at all. He?s happiest at home with his humans, enjoying cuddles on the sofa and happily settling himself onto any available lap. He enjoys off-lead time on the beach or in a secure field. Bailey looks to his people for reassurance as he continues to build his confidence. He?s a very smart boy who thrives with positive-reward training and already knows several cues, including sit, paw, down and wait. Bailey is a truly sweet and loving dog who?ll make a wonderful companion.
