About This Dog for Adoption

Tia's ideal home

Tia is a super sweet 12 year old Terrier - poodle mix looking for a quiet home to enjoy her retirement with. She's looking for a home where any children living or visiting the home are older teenagers. She could potentially live with a dog savvy cat, as she is doing well with ta cat buddy in foster but all cats are individuals. We believe she could potentially live with another calm older dog of similar size who's happy to coexist with her rather than wanting to play, this would be subject to a dog mix here at the centre.

Could you be Tia's perfect match?

Tia walks beautifully on the lead and still enjoys her walks, although she's not looking to climb any mountains! She can be protective of her food so it's important that both humans and any other pets in the home give her plenty of time and space to enjoy meals and treats. Tia loves to cwtch up on a lap and would prefer a home where someone is there most of the time although she could build up to being left for shorter periods.
