About This Dog for Adoption

Miles's ideal home

Miles is a super sweet, energetic, bouncy boy who would love a family to call his own. He can live with children age 14+ but must have previous dog experience. This is because he be very jumpy and excitable when meeying people. Miles can live with another dog in the home, but this isn't essential. He can be worried about meeting new dogs and will avoid and keep to himself. So, he can only live with another dog that is going to match him and give him space when he wants it. He definitely prefers people over dogs. He is currently in foster with another dog, and he just keeps to himself. so living with another dog isn't essential for him. Miles is your typical cockerpoo and does have times when he is very excitable and bouncy, especially around food times and when out on his walks. When you're preparing his food, he will jump up and down next to you until he has his food. And he can jump high! Miles does love a cuddle, and will snuggle up to you on the sofa and have all the fuss. Miles was a little worried when he saw the vet and did growl during his health check, he doesnt particulary like formal handling or being restrained, but he is just a sensitiv boy who gets nervous in certain situations. Miles absolutley loves his toys but does destroy them, so it might be worth getting him some extra tough toys when in the home! Miles can be a little anxious when travelling in the car, but he does settle after a while, it's just initially. Miles does struggle being left alone, and has shown signs of seperation in his previous home and with us. He ideally needs a home where someone is around most of the time and would build up time left alone gradually and at his pace.

Could you be Miles's perfect match?

Miles is looking for a home where someone is around most of the time and that can take him on lots of adventures, go out for lovely walks, and give him all the cuddles and attention he needs . He is a super sweet boy, who does have his sensitive side, but I do think he would make a lovely edition to an active family.
