About This Dog for Adoption
Rupert's ideal home
Rupert is searching for a lively, active home who can match his energetic and fun nature! Rupert is your classic Cockerpoo pup – full of beans and energy but an ultimate cuddle bug who thinks he’s a lap dog. Rupert loves meeting new people, and does jump up for a fuss, so he can live with primary school aged children that would be comfortable with this behaviour. He can share his new home with another young and playful dog who can tolerate a bouncy pup, and this will be pending successful dog mixes here at the Rehoming Centre. Rupert really struggles being left on his own and finds comfort in being your shadow, so he needs adopters who are going to be at home for the majority of the day, or ideally a family that want a dog to take out and about with them wherever they go, and who will be willing to work on his leaving with lots of positive reinforcement – something our behaviour team can support you with. Whilst having his own garden, private or communal, would be ideal to help burn off some of his puppy energy, Rupert is housetrained, so could go to a home with no garden if his adopters were willing to take him out to secure fields or similar. Rupert will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes around 7-10 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
Could you be Rupert's perfect match?
Rupert is an 11 month old Cockerpoo who is the sweetest dog you could possibly meet! He has such a fun and goofy personality, and will be sure to bring a smile to your face. He will run up to anyone he meets for a fuss, and will often flop onto his back for some belly rubs. Rupert is a clever boy with tons of potential, so adopters who want to engage in fun training sessions would be ideal. If your family are searching for a fun new member, Rupert could be the ideal match for you.
