Description

Baxter's ideal home

Baxter can live with adults only (18 years and over) and must be the only pet in the home but would love to socialise with other dogs on his walks. He is going to need some extra support in the home due to resource guarding behaviours and settling into home life, so any potential family need to be mindful of this and must be prepared to help with the transition into his new home, with our full support. Baxter's new home must have a room that is his and his new family will be guided by in centre trainers with how to utalise this and transitioning from his bedroom to the home. This room must be in a quiet area of the house, a utility room won't be sufficent.

Could you be Baxter's perfect match?

4 year old Baxter is a big bundle of enthusiasm, charm and cheekiness. He is bound to capture your heart as soon as you meet him! Baxter is no couch potato, he enjoys being on the go and is looking for an active family to match. Baxter can show a sensitive side and is overwhelmed when there are lots of people coming and going, so would benefit from a quiet household. He is extremely clever and is always keen to learn new tricks. He is fully housetrained and travels well in the car. Baxter has been destructive in his previous home, however, when given his own times and space this is something we have not seen for a long time. Adopters would need to be understanding of this when adopting Baxter that he will need time, commitment and patience. Baxter would make a great countryside walking companion to join you on your adventures!

Poodle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Poodle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
