Description

Randolph's ideal home

This handsome little chap is Randolph! He is a 9 year old Minatare Poodle with the spirit and energy of a younger dog. He is looking for patient adopters in a quieter home, which means no younger family members. He takes a little bit of time to get to know you before coming out of his shell, but once he does he is a ray of sunshine! Randolph would benefit from the company of another suitable dog to help with his confidence, so after successful meets he would love to live with a new doggy friend. He is currently sharing his kennel with another dog and really enjoys having the company. For this reason, Randolph cannot be left alone during the settling in period after his adoption. Someone around for most of the day would be ideal, but if his adopters need to leave the home during the day for work or other activities, then work will need to be done to gradually increase leaving time.

Could you be Randolph's perfect match?

Randolph may be 9 years old, but he still has plenty of energy for playtime and adventures! His favourite type of toys are soft toys, and he is great at swapping toys so that you can throw the next one for him. He is super enthusiastic when it comes to jumping in the car to go somewhere new, his tail doesn't stop wagging! Randolph has a fantastic wee character and his Canine Carers say that he is also a great cuddler. With some dedication to his training and confidence building, we know that Randolph will make a fantastic friend to his special someone. To show your interest in adopting Randolph, please submit an adoption application and include him as a 'Favourite' dog. Thank you!

Poodle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Poodle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
